UPDATED (November 7, 12:15 p.m.): Conrad launched the first episode of his new real estate series, Conrad Renovates, on YouTube on Tuesday, November 6. "AND THE FUN BEGINS!" he tweeted about the launch of his new weekly YouTube series. "I hope you all enjoy!"
The original story continues below.
Remember when Captain Sandy Yawn said she didn't think bosun Conrad Empson would be in yachting forever following Season 3 of Below Deck Mediterranean? As she memorably put it during the reunion: He "will probably never make it."
Well, it looks like Conrad has taken a break from yachting for the moment and is starting a brand new business venture on land. Conrad is currently turning his attention to real estate. The yachtie revealed the news on Instagram earlier this month, explaining that he will be buying, renovating, and selling properties.
Conrad recently shared on Twitter that he's currently on the lookout for a property in Nassau County or Suffolk County on Long Island. "Any condition, any situation, I'm looking for a quick buy!" Conrad tweeted. "It doesn't even have to have a working loo!"
Conrad also said that he will be capturing all of this in a new series. He has not yet provided any details on where fans can catch his real estate adventures, but we can't wait to see them all unfold.
Captain Sandy revealed she hoped this is the career path Conrad would ultimately pursue as she wished him "all the best in life" during the Below Deck Med Season 3 reunion. "What I admired about you when you came on the boat is you talked about you didn't want to be in yachting, that you wanted to do what your father did. You want to work in yachting to make enough money to go out and buy houses and renovate them, and that, to me, is wow, he has a plan," she said. "At 23, that's amazing."
